Seconds Count In An Emergency!

The City of Sharonville has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - a high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the City in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices). The system is capable of dialing 50,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers our recorded message to a live person or an answering machine, making three attempts to connect to any number.

THIS SYSTEM WILL ONLY BE USED FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES.

Examples of times when the CodeRED system could be utilized:

    Drinking water contamination

    Utility outage

    Evacuation notice & route

    Missing person

    Fires or Floods

    Bomb threat

    Hostage situation

    Chemical spill or Gas leak

and other emergency incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety.

Touch A Truck

Painting

The street painting contractor will be painting Friday, June 12th starting approximately 8 pm depending on the weather. They will be doing some hand work (arrows, crosswalks, etc.) and the striping of lines (center and edge). They will be working on the east side of the City and then moving to the northern part.

Next week beginning on Monday and through Friday they will finish the north and move to the west side. The work is always weather dependent and usually begins approximately at 8 pm and goes to 4 am.

The company doing the work is A&A Safety. The trucks are white with orange lettering on the side of the doors.

Cruisin The Loop

The first Cruisin The Loop of the summer will be kicking off Thursday, May 14 from 6-9pm. And our own Princeton High School Ensemble band will be playing at 6:30, weather permitting. We hope you can join us to kick off this wonderful summer event. Shops and Restaurants have committed to staying open late on Thursdays to keep the downtown area lit up and "alive".
