We Need Your Help
Go to your neighbor's yard and look at your house. Can you see the numbers on
the house? Another way to tell if your numbers are visible is to drive by
your house and look. When you need us, we do everything we can to get to you.
If your numbers on the house are not readily visible from the street, it may
be very difficult to find you. Every employee on the fire department is dedicated
to preserving the life and property of our residents. With your help, we can do
this more efficiently. Reflective numbers visible in evening hours are a tremendous
help as well.
Ambulance Life Squad Service
The City of Sharonville provides Advanced Life Support (A.L.S.), Paramedic
level of service, as well as Basic Life Support (B.L.S.), Emergency Medical
Technician level of service to residents. The Paramedics are dispatched as
first respondents to every medical emergency aid call that is received, and
the level of care is determined after the paramedics evaluate the patient.
The appropriate level of care is administered after this initial evaluation.
There is a charge for these medical services and the cost for each level of
care is billed at different rates. HealthServe is used to assist in filing
medical claims with your insurance company. For billing questions the company is Life Force Management, and the phone number to call is: 1-800-770-4767.
Open Burn Permits
Permits for ceremonial bonfires must be obtained from the Fire Department

Free Smoke Alarms
The Sharonville Kiwanis Club and the Fire Department provide free smoke
detectors to residents who do not have them in their private homes. The
Kiwanis Club provides the funding necessary to purchase smoke detectors
and the Fire Department installs them. All units installed through this
program will be tracked, and an annual reminder to replace the battery
will be provided. The Fire Department's goal is to have at least one smoke
detector in every home in the City of Sharonville. Please call (513)
563-0252. SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES! Please Replace your battery at least
once a year, and test your smoke alarm (Push the button on the front of the
alarm until it beeps) at least once a month.

You should have a "CO" detector if you use a
fossil fuel (natural gas, propane, wood, oil etc.).

Home Inspections
The Home Safe Inspection is a new program. Any resident can request
an inspection of their home. A representative from the Police Department
also will discuss security issues. We will inspect your residence for
possible life safety hazards and unsafe practices in the home, such as
the use of extension cords for permanent wiring. There are no penalties
for unsafe practices. Our goal is to educate.
