Sharonville Residents: Get you flu shot before the flu gets you!

SEASONAL FLU CLINIC The Health Department will be conducting a Seasonal Flu Clinic on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Sharonville Rec Center on Thornview Avenue. You do not need to be a resident of Sharonville to receive your flu vaccine at this clinic. The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older receive the flu vaccine, with people over 65, pregnant women, children under 5 years of age and people with underlying health issues being at higher risk. New this year will be the ability to use your Health Insurance to cover the cost of your vaccination. Please bring your health insurance card with you to the clinic. The following insurance will be accepted:
Aetna, Anthem BCBS, CareSource, Cigna, Humana, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Medicaid, Medicare B & Rail Road, Molina Healthcare, Ohio Health Choice, SummaCare, The Health Plan, UMWA, UnitedHealthcare Should you need to pay for the flu vaccine out of pocket, the cost will be as follows: Credit cards, in addition to cash and checks, will be accepted for payment. Please keep in mind that no person will be denied flu vaccine provided by the Ohio Department of Health because of an inability to pay.
