'Touch a Truck' Event Set for Kids June 27

A fire truck, police car, dump truck, backhoe, tow truck and SWAT team are just a few of the vehicles children will enjoy seeing at “Touch A Truck” on June 27, 2008.

This year’s event will be held from 11 AM to 3 PM at Gower Park, located at the corner of Creek Road and Thornview Drive in Sharonville.

This FREE event organized by the City of Sharonville will allow children to see, touch and explore more than 50 of their favorite big trucks and construction equipment.

The City of Sharonville Announces Roadway Closure
Sharonville, Ohio – May 21, 2008 – The City of Sharonville, in conjunction with Norfolk Southern Railroad, will be implementing repairs to the railroad crossing on Crescentville Road near I-75 starting on May 28, 2008.  Crescentville Road will be closed for up to one week while repairs are completed.  Detours will be posted in the area and motorists should expect some delays due to alternate route congestion.

Sharonville Convention Center Expansion

Two grants for funding the design of the Sharonville Convention Center Expansion were approved by the Hamilton County Commission in February 2007 and the State of Ohio in December 2006. The renovation will include ballroom, meeting rooms, and support services. The 65,700 sq.ft. addition will consist of an exhibit hall, retail space, additional meeting rooms, and support services.

Sharonville Northern Lights - a project aimed at revitalizing the Chester Road Corridor and creating a regional destination with unique and memorable identity.
